Delete your Mindtrek account

Delete your account in the app

Open Mindtrek and go to You → your profile picture → Account & security → Delete account, then confirm. This works the same on iPhone and Android, and your account is closed right away.

Delete your account without the app

You don't need to install the app again. Email support@mindtrek.app from the address you signed up with and use the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account and email you when it is done, within 30 days.

Cancel your membership first

Deleting your account does not cancel a membership. Billing runs through Apple or Google, so cancel it there before you delete your account.

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

What we delete

• Your profile: name, email address and profile photo
• Your walks, including routes, distance, steps and photos
• Your notes, reflections and Trek reviews
• Your favourites, reminders and settings
• Your newsletter subscription, if you had one

What we keep, and for how long

• Your data is removed from our systems within 30 days of your request.
• Payment records stay with Apple or Google, who process memberships.
• We keep the reason you gave for leaving, without your name or email address, to improve Mindtrek.
• Usage statistics and crash reports that do not contain your name or email address may stay with our analytics providers.
